Titans Debut: Zane Harrison Set to Shine Against Roosters
Gold Coast Titans coach Josh Hannay has named local junior Zane Harrison for his NRL debut in Friday night's blockbuster clash against the Sydney Roosters. The 19 or 20-year-old playmaker will partner regular halfback Jayden Campbell in the Titans' halves for the round 19 fixture.
A Pathway Success Story“That’s always been the dream to play NRL...”
— Zane Harrison
Harrison has been embedded in the Titans' pathways system since the age of 15. His junior career includes:
- Palm Beach Currumbin State High School (rugby league program)
- 2024 Peter Sterling Medal winner
- NSW Under-17s representative
- Player of the Match in the 2022 Andrew Johns Cup Grand Final
Despite attracting interest from at least six rival NRL clubs, Harrison chose to remain with the Titans in 2024. He is currently contracted to the club until the end of the 2027 season.
