Xiaomi has begun selling the Redmi Watch 6 and its NFC variant outside of China, months after their initial October launch. The international rollout currently covers Poland, Romania, and Thailand, with the NFC model available exclusively in Poland.
Display and Design
The watch features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, 324 ppi, and 2mm bezels, achieving an 82% screen-to-body ratio. Peak brightness reaches up to 2,000 nits, and it supports an always-on display.
The design is 9.9mm thick with a unibody aluminum alloy frame and a raised stainless steel dial. A dedicated physical button allows quick access to the control center, shutdown/restart menu, and — with three presses — an emergency contact shortcut.
Battery and Vibration
- Battery: 550mAh, rated for up to 24 days (light use), 12 days (normal use), and 7 days (intensive use).
- Vibration: A linear motor delivers over 20 distinct vibration patterns for notifications and alerts.
Fitness, Tracking, and Durability
The watch supports over 150 sports modes and offers 5ATM water resistance (suitable for swimming). It includes independent GNSS with dual L1 antennas, tracking five satellite systems for accurate outdoor positioning.
