View source

A passenger was removed from flight KL592 (codeshares: AF8282, DL9560, SK6855) after it departed Johannesburg for Amsterdam on April 25 at 23:11 local time.

All passengers on the flight are being informed by GGD Kennemerland as a precaution.

The Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) stated there are indications that the Andes strain of hantavirus can be transmitted from person to person, but this appears to be very rare. Only a few such cases have been reported internationally. Person-to-person transmission is believed to occur only during very close contact.
