Hollywoord filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, have been found deceased at their residence in Los Angeles. Authorities are investigating the incident as an apparent homicide.

Police and firefighters were dispatched to the couple's home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon. Officials confirmed that a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
As of the current reports, law enforcement has stated that no suspect or person of interest is being actively sought in connection with the deaths.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call for medical assistance at approximately 15:38 local time (23:38 GMT). Robbery homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department subsequently responded and initiated a homicide investigation.
During a news conference on Sunday evening, Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton confirmed that both bodies remained inside the house more than six hours after authorities were initially called. He also stated that no arrests or detentions had been made. Details regarding any injuries sustained by the individuals or whether a weapon was involved have not been released.
