Marshall Milton ANC: A New On-Ear Contender Arrives

Marshall has officially unveiled the Milton ANC, the successor to the popular Major V model. This new on-ear headphone introduces active noise cancellation, revamped drivers, and next-generation Bluetooth connectivity.

Key Upgrades at a Glance

  • Design & Fit: The Milton ANC retains a supra-aural (on-ear), foldable design. The earcups are larger than the Major V’s for improved comfort and passive noise isolation.
  • Active Noise Cancellation: The ANC is adaptive, automatically adjusting to your environment. A transparency mode is available, powered by six built-in microphones.
  • Audio Performance: Marshall states the drivers are completely redesigned for better bass and treble, and they comply with Hi-Res Audio standards. A new Soundstage feature aims to create spatial audio.

Connectivity and Features

  • Bluetooth 6.0 with LE Audio support.
  • Codec support includes AAC, LC3, LDAC, and SBC.
  • Compatible with both Apple's Find My and Google's Find My networks.

Battery Life and Price

  • Battery: Rated at 50 hours with ANC on, and a massive 80 hours with ANC off. Notably, the battery is replaceable.
  • Availability: Available starting May 19.
  • Price: $229, which is $80 more than the outgoing Major V.
