In Game 1 of their playoff series, the New York Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-104.
A key factor in the Knicks' fourth-quarter performance was targeting Cavaliers guard James Harden on defense. Jalen Brunson isolated against Harden nine times in the quarter, scoring efficiently and helping the Knicks average 1.9 points per possession on those plays.
After the game, Cavaliers coach Mike Brown commented on the strategy, saying, "It was no secret we were attacking Harden."
