Apple Expands Key Health Features to Italy, Taiwan, and India
Apple has announced the expansion of several health features for Apple Watch and AirPods to new markets. The updates include:
- Hearing Aid for AirPods Pro now available in Italy.
- Hypertension notifications for Apple Watch Series 9 or later, or Ultra 2 or later, now available in Taiwan.
- Hearing Test and Sleep apnea notifications now available in India. Hearing Test requires AirPods Pro 2 or later; Sleep apnea notifications require Apple Watch Series 9 or later, Ultra 2, or SE 3.
The expansion was announced by Greg Joswiak, Apple's SVP of Marketing, via a post on X on May 21, 2026. He noted that select Apple Health features are now available in over 160 countries and regions.
