Masked intruders stormed the Nyon home of four-time Formula 1 world champion Alain Prost on Tuesday morning, injuring a family member before making off with stolen items.

The Incident
Masked individuals entered the home of Alain Prost in Nyon, Switzerland, at approximately 8:30 AM on Tuesday. They threatened the occupants, slightly injuring one family member in the head. The assailants then forced another person to open a safe before fleeing with stolen items.

The Response
Swiss and French police, along with border security, launched a large-scale search operation following the robbery. A psychological support team was provided to the family. The value of the stolen items is currently under assessment.

Background
Alain Prost, 71, is a former Formula 1 driver who won four world championships (1985, 1986, 1989, 1993) driving for McLaren, Renault, Ferrari, and Williams. He remains one of the most celebrated figures in motorsport history.
