Paramount Games Studio and Platinum Games Announce Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin

Paramount Games Studio, the combined in-house studio of Paramount and Skydance, revealed its first project at Summer Game Fest on Friday: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin."

Developed by Platinum Games and published by Paramount Games Studio, the AAA action-adventure game is based on the comic book series of the same name, following the last surviving Ninja Turtle on a mission of vengeance.

No release date has been set. The title will be available on console and PC.

The game's trailer premiered during Summer Game Fest at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Merchandise and Comic Prequel

Paramount Games announced a limited-edition BossLogic merchandise collection, including The Last Ronin-themed apparel and collectible poster art.

A 10-page preview of a new comic, "The Last Ronin: Training Day," by Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz, will be released on July 9. Art is by the Escorza Brothers and Ben Bishop. The one-shot prequel is set between issues #3 and #4 of "The Last Ronin" and focuses on Michelangelo training Casey Marie Jones over a 24-hour period.
