View source

Peter Phillips, 48, the eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and the only son of Princess Anne, married Harriet Sperling, 45, a pediatric nurse and freelance writer, on Saturday.

The ceremony took place at All Saints' Church in a Gloucestershire village, the county where Ms. Sperling was raised. The wedding was a private event.

A reception is scheduled to be held at Gatcombe Park, the home of Princess Anne. Gatcombe Park was purchased by Queen Elizabeth II in 1976 for Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips and is a Grade II-listed property. Both Peter Phillips and his sister, Zara Tindall, were raised there.
