During the game, the veteran forward shattered the previous fastest natural hat trick record of 6:21—a mark set by Montreal Canadiens icon Maurice "Rocket" Richard 69 years ago. Richard, a Hall of Famer, is the namesake of the NHL Rocket Richard Trophy, awarded annually to the league's leading regular-season goal scorer.

Marner on the Line's Success
Mitchell Marner, a forward for the Golden Knights, praised the performance of his line, which also features William Karlsson and Brett Howden.
