The United States government has expanded its travel restrictions, impacting nationals from five additional countries and individuals holding Palestinian Authority-issued documents. These new measures are scheduled to take effect on January 1.
New Full Entry Restrictions
Full entry restrictions will be imposed on nationals from:
- Burkina Faso
- Mali
- Niger
- South Sudan
- Syria
Additionally, individuals traveling with Palestinian Authority-issued documents will face full entry restrictions.
Changes to Existing Restrictions
Laos and Sierra Leone, previously subject to partial restrictions, have been moved to the full ban list.
New Partial Restrictions
Partial restrictions have been introduced for 15 other countries, including:
- Nigeria
- Tanzania
- Zimbabwe
