Tico Alpha 0.7.0 Brings GameCube and Wii Emulation to the Nintendo Switch
An update to the Dolphin emulator, Tico Alpha version 0.7.0, has added support for GameCube and Wii games on the Nintendo Switch. This update allows users who have modded their Switch with custom firmware to emulate Nintendo GameCube and Wii titles.
The source code for part of the emulator has been released publicly to aid independent developers. To use the emulator, users must mod their Switch, which is possible on early V1 models via software, while newer and OLED models require hardware modifications.
