Ariana Grande Gets Emotional During Los Angeles Tour Stop

LOS ANGELES, CA – Ariana Grande brought her "Eternal Sunshine Tour" to the Crypto.com Arena on June 14, 2026, for the second of four scheduled nights in the city. Approximately 90 minutes into the performance, the pop star paused to address the audience in a heartfelt moment.

"Thank you for being a loving, safe presence in my life."

Grande became visibly emotional during her speech, wiping away tears. She was dressed in a custom Vivienne Westwood ensemble, paired with Christian Louboutin boots and Swarovski jewelry.

A Return to the Stage

The show marked Grande’s first major tour since a hiatus that began in 2019. During that time, she focused on her role in the upcoming Wicked film franchise. In a lighthearted aside, she noted that this was also her first tour wearing contact lenses, humorously admitting it allowed her to see the audience "more clearly."

The Setlist and New Music

The setlist drew heavily from her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine (released March 8, 2024), as well as its deluxe reissue, Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead. Fans in attendance were also treated to speculation regarding her next project. Her eighth studio album, Petals, is currently scheduled for release on July 31.

Notable Attendees

While Grande herself performed on June 14, the previous night's show attracted a slew of celebrity attendees. The guest list included Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Addison Rae, and Ashlee Simpson Ross.

Behind the Scenes

The tour is produced by Live Nation, with styling direction from Law Roach, ensuring the visual elements matched the emotional weight of the performance.
