Tragedy in Canoga Park: Father and Twin Sons Found Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide
On Sunday, a father and his two 10-year-old twin sons were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide at an apartment complex in Canoga Park, Los Angeles.
"The Los Angeles Fire Department received a report of a shooting at approximately 7:15 p.m. First responders pronounced three people dead at the scene."
The incident occurred on the 8000 block of Owensmouth Avenue, an area located next to a baseball field and directly across the street from Lanark Park. A large law enforcement presence was observed at the scene following the discovery.
Investigation Underway
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the incident as a murder-suicide, with the father believed to be responsible for the deaths. Detectives are actively gathering evidence and working to determine the motive behind the tragic event.

Family members and bystanders gathered at the scene as word of the tragedy spread. One woman expressed deep sorrow, stating she prayed for the family. Authorities have not yet released further identifications of the deceased.
