Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix to Host Even-Numbered F1 Rounds Through 2032

Round 7 of the 2026 F1 season introduces the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, replacing the Spanish GP after the Barcelona circuit lost the moniker to the new Madring circuit, which debuts in September. The Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix will alternate with the Belgian GP at Spa, hosting in even-numbered years through 2032.

Driver Kimi Antonelli leads the championship with a 66-point margin over Lewis Hamilton, having won the previous five consecutive grand prix races, including the Monaco Grand Prix.

The first practice session (FP1) will run for 60 minutes. Several rookie drivers are participating, including Antonelli, Hamilton, and Lando Norris.
