Genesis Reveals Magma GT3 Concept at 24 Hours of Le Mans

Genesis, the Korean manufacturer, has unveiled its Magma GT3 Concept at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The concept car was developed in collaboration with Hyundai Motorsport.

Technical Details

Technical specifications of the Magma GT3 Concept have not been disclosed. Genesis stated that the vehicle is in an exploration phase, with architecture, components, and development pathways yet to be defined.

Brand Strategy

According to a Genesis statement, the concept outlines a potential future direction for Genesis Magma Racing beyond its FIA WEC Hypercar program. The company indicated that the concept reflects the relevance of GT3 competition and its potential to strengthen the connection between Genesis road cars and racing activities.

Current WEC Status

Hyundai has two cars in this year's FIA World Endurance Championship. The #19 Genesis GMR-001 will start sixth, while the #17 entry will start ninth.
