Carrera Celebrates 70 Years at O-SHOW26 in Melbourne
Austrian eyewear brand Carrera will mark its 70th anniversary at the O-SHOW26 trade show in Melbourne, from 16-17 August.
The event, organized by Safilo, will transform the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre into a Carrera-themed celebration during the final hour of the first day. Attendees from across the optical industry, including customers, partners, and competitors, are invited to experience changing lighting, music, and visuals.
The celebration is inspired by a similar event held at the MIDO optical trade show in Italy.
Limited-Edition Collection
To coincide with the anniversary, Carrera will release a limited-edition collection, available for a short period.
Global Ambassador Appearance
Global ambassador Pat Cummins will not attend due to Test cricket commitments, but will appear via a video message.
Company History
Carrera was founded in 1956 by Wilhelm Anger and named after the Carrera Panamericana road race.
