Barker joined "Love Island USA" in 2020 as a story producer. He was later promoted to executive producer, a role he held for the last three seasons. His responsibilities included production, post-production, and overseeing the show's soundtrack.
Barker also worked for Scout Productions, Sharp Entertainment, and Kinetic Content. Outside of television, he spent 20 years working as a DJ across the United States.
