17-Year-Old Cyclist Collides with Mobility Scooter at Junior Race
During the fourth and final stage of the LVV Saarland Trofeo, a junior multi-day cycling race in Germany, 17-year-old cyclist Paul Vriesman collided with an elderly woman riding a mobility scooter. The collision caused several other competitors to fall due to the narrow course.
"The narrow course and sudden presence of the scooter led to a domino effect among racers."
Aftermath
Vriesman stated on Instagram that he sustained no major injuries. It is not known whether the woman was injured.
