Bungie has released the Monument of Triumph update for Destiny 2, which is confirmed to be the final content update. No new gameplay content will be added in the future.
A New Long-Term Grind
The update introduces Bright Dust focusing for Eververse engrams, allowing players to focus a Bright Engram into an item from a specific category they do not already own. Bright Engrams are primarily obtained through the season pass and via XP after reaching the pass end, with a low drop rate.
The Eververse inventory includes hundreds of cosmetic items across multiple categories:
- Eververse Engram: 38 items
- Exotic Weapon Ornaments: 60+
- Exotic Ghost Shells: 60+
- Exotic Ships: 60+
- Exotic Sparrows: 60+
- Legendary Shells, Ships, Sparrows: 57
- Shaders: 44
- Exotic Emotes: 60+
- Legendary Emotes: 60+
- Legendary Finishers: 55
- Ghost Projections, Holochips, Transmats: 60+
- Hunter Armor Ornaments: 139
- Titan Armor Ornaments: 126
- Warlock Armor Ornaments: 139
What This Means for Players
The Bright Dust store will rotate daily, offering items at steep prices. This feature provides a long-term grind objective for players who wish to continue playing after the final update.
