Destiny 2 Adds Bright Dust Focusing for Eververse Items in Final Update

View source

Bungie has released the Monument of Triumph update for Destiny 2, which is confirmed to be the final content update. No new gameplay content will be added in the future.

A New Long-Term Grind

The update introduces Bright Dust focusing for Eververse engrams, allowing players to focus a Bright Engram into an item from a specific category they do not already own. Bright Engrams are primarily obtained through the season pass and via XP after reaching the pass end, with a low drop rate.

The Eververse inventory includes hundreds of cosmetic items across multiple categories:

  • Eververse Engram: 38 items
  • Exotic Weapon Ornaments: 60+
  • Exotic Ghost Shells: 60+
  • Exotic Ships: 60+
  • Exotic Sparrows: 60+
  • Legendary Shells, Ships, Sparrows: 57
  • Shaders: 44
  • Exotic Emotes: 60+
  • Legendary Emotes: 60+
  • Legendary Finishers: 55
  • Ghost Projections, Holochips, Transmats: 60+
  • Hunter Armor Ornaments: 139
  • Titan Armor Ornaments: 126
  • Warlock Armor Ornaments: 139

What This Means for Players

The Bright Dust store will rotate daily, offering items at steep prices. This feature provides a long-term grind objective for players who wish to continue playing after the final update.
