Friction in Fox Sports Studio

During a broadcast, Landon Donovan described France as "arrogant" at halftime of their match against Senegal. Thierry Henry disagreed.

At full time, Alexi Lalas supported Donovan. Zlatan Ibrahimovic then offered a sharp rebuke:

"It's not arrogance, it's confidence. Ignorant people will say it's arrogance, intelligent people will say it's confidence."

Henry appeared pleased with Ibrahimovic's comment.

Scots Deplete Boston Beer Supplies

Scotland fans consumed large amounts of beer in Boston ahead of their match against Haiti. Bars requested emergency deliveries. A second wave is expected before the match against Morocco.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Performance Against DR Congo

In a 1-1 draw against DR Congo, Ronaldo had three shots, none on target, and 25 touches, the fewest of any starting player. He missed two chances in the second half. Bruno Fernandes appeared frustrated when Ronaldo took the ball from him.

Thierry Henry commented: "The team needs to score. Not you need to score."

Coach Roberto Martínez said Ronaldo needed more support. Kevin Prince-Boateng was more direct: "Portugal is a better side without him."
