Faith No More Announces Return to Live Performances in 2027
"We're gonna do it. We're gonna play. We're definitely going to be in Europe. We're definitely going to be in South America, and Australia, and the US..." — Bill Gould
Faith No More bassist Bill Gould has confirmed that the band will return to live performance in 2027, marking their first shows in over a decade. In an interview on the Rock Talk podcast, Gould stated that the band's tour will span multiple continents.
"I think probably our shows will start around like January or February next year," Gould said, confirming planned stops in Europe, South America, Australia, and the United States.
The band has not performed since 2016. On June 16, 2025, Faith No More posted an image on social media featuring their logo and “2027” over a picture of a live crowd, sparking speculation that officials now confirm.
Background
Faith No More had planned shows for 2020, but these were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The rescheduled dates were canceled in September 2021 after frontman Mike Patton stated he could not fulfill his commitments due to mental health reasons. The other band members issued a statement supporting Patton.
In September 2022, Patton announced his return to live performances with Mr. Bungle in December 2022. He has since performed with AVTT/PTTN.
The road to this reunion has been rocky. In late 2024, keyboardist Roddy Bottum described the band as being on "a semi-permanent hiatus." In January 2025, Gould stated the band was "in a really weird spot." By April 2025, drummer Mike Bordin said Patton had "gone from being unable to do the shows to clearly being unwilling to do shows with us."
Despite these tensions, the 2027 tour now appears set to bring Faith No More back to stages worldwide.
