Google Photos Expands AI Editing Tool to Europe

Google Photos is rolling out its "Edit with Ask Photos" feature to five new regions in Europe, bringing its AI-powered photo editing capabilities to a wider international audience.

"Edit with Ask Photos allows users to make photo adjustments via text prompts, such as 'remove the glare' or 'give this a sepia tone look.'"

New Regions Added

The feature, previously available only in the US, Australia, India, and Japan, is now expanding to:

  • Germany
  • United Kingdom
  • France
  • Spain
  • Italy

Rollout Details

The expansion is rolling out now for Android users in these regions. iOS support for the feature remains limited to the United States at this time.

What the Feature Does

"Edit with Ask Photos" enables users to make specific photo adjustments by simply typing a text prompt. Instead of manually adjusting sliders or applying filters, users can describe the desired result directly to the AI, streamlining the editing process for common tasks like glare removal or color adjustments.
