NASA Expands Commercial Satellite Data Program with Eight New Partners

The agency's Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition mission aims to cost-effectively augment and complement NASA's Earth observations by identifying, evaluating, and acquiring commercial satellite data.

NASA has selected eight new companies and will acquire new data products from six existing contract holders, significantly broadening the range of commercial satellite data available to researchers, civil agencies, and decision-makers. These measurements supplement NASA's Earth satellites by providing high-resolution and frequent observations.
