Philips Hue introduces its first wired wall modules, designed to be installed behind existing switches and bring non-smart lights into the Hue ecosystem via the app.
Currently available only in Europe, the lineup includes modules for single and double rocker switches, a dimmer module, and a fourth wired module that allows standard switches to control Hue lights while supporting the whole-home MotionAware system. Pricing starts at €44.99.
The company also launched more affordable Play Table and Floor Lamps, alongside new B39/E12 Candle Bulbs. The bulbs offer 470 lumens, a white light spectrum of 1000–20,000K, Chromasync color technology, and dimmability down to 0.2%. They feature Matter-over-Thread compatibility, enabling direct pairing with Apple Home and Google Home without a Hue Bridge, and are priced at €109.99 for a two-pack.
Signify CTO George Yianni noted that DIY modules are not an established category in the US, where integrated switches are more common, but said the company would consider a US launch if there is sufficient interest.
