Apple Unveils Five New Apps: Siri AI Gets a Standalone Home, and Find My Gets a Major Overhaul

Overview

Apple has introduced five new applications, four of which were announced at WWDC 2026. The fifth was released by its subsidiary, Claris.

Siri AI is a rebuilt version of Apple's voice assistant, now with a standalone app.

Siri AI App

Siri AI represents a major rebuild of Apple’s voice assistant. For the first time, it exists as a dedicated, standalone application. The app can search the web, access general knowledge, evaluate documents, solve math problems, and take actions across other apps.

Users can interact with Siri AI by typing or speaking. Conversation history syncs seamlessly across devices via iCloud.

The app is included in iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27, and will be available this fall. Developer betas are currently ongoing, with access to Siri AI provided via a waitlist.

Important note: Siri AI will not be available in the European Union at launch.

Apple TV Remote App Returns

Apple is bringing back the Apple TV Remote app as a Home Screen icon. It will be pre-installed with iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. Users can search for "Remote" and drag the icon directly to their Home Screen for easy access.

All-New Find My on Apple Watch

With watchOS 27, Find My is being consolidated into a single, map-centric app. This unified app now combines Find Devices, Find People, and Find Items into one place.

Key features include:

  • Quick access to directions
  • Precision Finding for locating a paired iPhone, AirPods Pro 3, or AirTag 2
• More flexible sharing options

watchOS 27 consolidates Find Devices, Find People, and Find Items into a single map-centric app.

Pass Designer

Pass Designer is a brand-new Mac application designed for building and previewing Apple Wallet passes.

Features include:

  • Support for Apple-provided or custom templates
  • Real-time rendering and validation
  • Semantic tags for boarding passes and event tickets

The beta requires macOS 27 or later and is available exclusively to registered Apple developers.

Claris FileMaker Go 2026

Released on June 10, Claris FileMaker Go 2026 adds support for iOS and iPadOS 26. A key update is its integration of Google Gemini alongside existing AI models.

The update focuses on developer productivity and infrastructure resilience, based on Claris developer community feedback.
