The HBO documentary Earth, Wind & Fire (To Be Celestial vs. That's the Weight of the World), directed by Questlove, made its debut at the 2026 Tribeca Festival. The film delves deep into the band's meteoric rise while also examining the personal complexities of its founder, Maurice White.

Marilyn White, a longtime partner, said White was unfaithful and had children with other women.

According to relatives, the documentary explores White's multiple relationships and children born outside his primary partnership. Interviews with family members, including sons Eden and daughter Mimi White, provide intimate perspective.
