A star-studded cast is set to launch into outer space in Illumination's newest animated film.
Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez will lead the voice cast for "Not Alone," a new animated feature from the studio behind Despicable Me and The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
"The film follows an introverted rocket mechanic who finds his quiet life invaded by three aliens seeking a way home."
The Characters
In the film, Chalamet voices Joe, an introverted rocket mechanic whose life is turned upside down. Gomez voices Fran, an astro-botanist who develops a revolutionary plant-fueled rocket.
The story kicks into gear when three aliens named Dunk, Welly, and Shirm take refuge in Joe's home. Desperate to return to their home planet, they enlist the help of Joe and Fran to use her rocket. Hot on their trail is Officer Zandro, a determined pursuer.

The project is being co-directed by a trio of Illumination veterans: Eric Guillon, Claire Dodgson, and Jonathan Del Val.
