Incident
Emergency services responded to a report of a fight involving three men and two women on Alkira Ave in Norlane, north Geelong, at approximately 12:40 pm on Sunday. At the scene, a man was found with critical stab wounds. Paramedics treated him, but he could not be revived and was declared dead at the scene.
Casualties
A woman in her 20s sustained minor injuries and was treated by paramedics.
Investigation
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the incident. Police stated that the parties are believed to be known to one another. Officers from the Major Crime Scene Unit are also attending the scene. No arrests have been made.
