The 2024 Logie Award nominations have been announced, showcasing a remarkable range of talent and storytelling.

Key Nominees and Programs

Lila McGuire, 29, and Eloise Hart, 10, both portrayed tennis champion Evonne Goolagong Cawley in the ABC miniseries "Goolagong," which is nominated for Best Miniseries/Telemovie.

McGuire and Hart are among six nominees for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent, a category that also includes Bundjalung and Lamalama actor Tamala.

Silver Logie for Best Lead Actress in a Drama

McGuire is also nominated for the Silver Logie for Best Lead Actress in a Drama. Four of the six nominees in this category are women of color.

"Mystery Road: Origin" Scores Big

The ABC series "Mystery Road: Origin" received five nominations, including a prestigious nod for Best Drama Program.

Best Lead Actor in a Drama

In a historic shift, Mark Coles Smith, Hunter Page-Lochard, and Rob Collins are nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Drama, making three of six nominees First Nations actors.

Best Supporting Actor

Clarence Ryan and Thomas Weatherall are both nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

New Category Honors Sports Journalism

The Logies introduced a new category honoring sports journalists, named after the legendary Bruce McAvaney.
