KPMG Australia announced Tuesday that chairman Martin Sheppard will resign, to be replaced by an independent chairman. Two other senior partners, Paul Rogers and former chief operating officer Eileen Hoggett, will also leave the partnership.
The firm announced two external reviews: one by Principia Advisory to examine its whistleblowing system and culture, and another to review how the firm learns from mistakes. These actions follow allegations that confidential client data was shared and potentially used to win new business.
Former CEO Andrew Yates and audit head Julian McPherson resigned in late [month].
