Anaheim, CA – An incident occurred on June 21 at Disneyland's Tiana's Bayou Adventure, when a 13-year-old guest exited a moving log vehicle. Cast members stopped the ride immediately after the teenager reportedly climbed out and slid down the attraction's signature 50-foot drop.
The guest was transported to a local hospital and was released later that day.
Following the incident, the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) conducted an inspection of the ride the next morning. The agency cleared the attraction to resume normal operations by the following day.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which opened at Disneyland in November 2024, replaced the long-running Splash Mountain. No changes to safety restraints or boarding procedures have been announced in the wake of the incident.
