"Republican primary voters have spoken and we look forward to working together to send Anthony Constantino to Congress." — NYS GOP Chair Ed Cox

Endorsements

Constantino received endorsements from President Donald Trump, Congressman Jim Jordan, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and Roger Stone. Smullen was endorsed by the New York State Republican Party and county chairs of NY-21.

Post-Primary Developments

Following the primary, the NYS GOP announced its support for Constantino. Representative Elise Stefanik, who had not previously endorsed either candidate, also expressed support for Constantino.

Smullen has secured the Conservative Party line for the general election, which could lead to a split Republican vote. Sources indicate that Smullen may face pressure to withdraw from the race in the coming weeks.
