Julie and Cam's Kiosk at Abbotsford Convent Enter Voluntary Liquidation
"Despite exploring all options, continuing operations in their current form is no longer possible."
Two popular restaurants at Abbotsford Convent, Julie and Cam's Kiosk, have permanently closed and entered voluntary liquidation. The decision was announced by founder Cameron Miller, who cited difficult trading conditions across the hospitality industry as the primary reason for the closure.
Cam's Kiosk, which had operated as a beloved community hub since 2009, gained unexpected international attention in 2025 when pop star Dua Lipa visited the venue. The site had undergone significant expansion in recent years.
Julie, the newer sibling venue, had only opened in September 2023. In addition, a gallery bar was added to Cam's Kiosk just last year as part of growth efforts.
Despite these investments, Miller confirmed that all options to sustain the business had been exhausted. The liquidation process is now underway for both restaurants.
