Dolly Parton, 80, made a surprise appearance at the grand opening of her newest business venture, Dolly's Tennessean Travel Stop, on June 24, 2026, in Cornersville, Tennessee.

The sprawling travel stop offers a wide range of amenities, including:

  • Fuel station

  • Tour bus parking
  • Mural and lounge area
  • Dog park
  • Electric vehicle charging stations

Parton took a playful swipe at industry giant Buc-ee's during her remarks, referencing the beaver mascot of her rival chain. "I couldn't leave it to beavers," she said, to the delight of the crowd.
