Debris from a small aircraft was discovered near the CITIC Tower (China Zun), Beijing's tallest building, on Friday. The 528-meter skyscraper, located in the city’s Central Business District, became the focal point of an ongoing investigation.

Photos on social media showed what appeared to be a hole or broken glass on one side of the building. The authenticity of the images could not be independently confirmed, and they were subsequently removed from the internet.
