View source

From Software has released Version 1.03.2 for "Elden Ring: Nightreign," implementing extensive balance adjustments, feature updates, and bug fixes across all platforms. The update includes significant modifications to multiple Nightfarer characters, adjustments to relic effects, changes to equipment and magic, revisions for field and raid content, and various bug resolutions.

Character Adjustments

Several Nightfarer characters received specific adjustments:

  • Guardian: Damage negation for physical and elemental attacks was increased. The Guard Boost ability was also improved.
  • Raider: Attack speed was increased for various attacks, excluding dual-wield and jump attacks, particularly when using Greataxes, Great Hammers, or Colossal Weapons. An effect was added to "Fighter's Resolve" to boost attack power when HP is low. The attack range of the Ultimate Art "Totem Stela" was expanded.
  • Revenant: Attack power for summoned spirits' special attacks was increased when "Immortal March" or the "Summon Spirit" skill is active. Summoned spirits' attack power and damage negation were further boosted in Deep of Night mode, scaling with expedition depth.
  • Executor: Critical hit attack power, Guard Boost, and stagger damage were buffed upon successful deflection while "Cursed Sword" is active. Stamina reduction on deflection was lowered, and guard breaks are now prevented if stamina runs out after a successful deflection. Attack power scaling and damage negation for "Aspects of the Crucible: Beast" were increased during the skill attack of this Ultimate Art, with a new mechanic preventing critical wounds at 1 HP upon skill activation.
  • Duchess: Visibility of the phantom when the skill "Restage" is triggered was adjusted.
  • Scholar: Distance criteria affecting the progress rate against large enemies for the "Analyse" skill were adjusted.
  • Undertaker: Movement distance for some hammer attacks against stationary targets was adjusted.

Relic Adjustments

Numerous relic effects were adjusted, with many receiving increased potency, including:

  • HP recovery from guarding.
  • Increased ability to draw enemy attention while guarding.
  • Boosts related to Wylder fire damage.
  • Guardian shockwaves.
  • Raider HP restoration and Poise when near a Totem Stela.
  • Executor HP restoration and attack power boosts with Cursed Sword.
  • Undertaker attack power boosts.
Conversely, the effects of "Successive Attacks Boost Attack Power" and "Improved Bow Attack Power" were decreased.

Equipment, Sorceries, and Incantations

  • Ranged Attacks: Distance-related drop-off is now applied to status ailment accumulation, Ultimate Art gauge charging, and near-death gauge depletion for ranged attacks on downed allies.
  • Sorceries: The primary sorcery of the "Rotten Crystal Staff" was changed to "Crystal Release." FP consumption was increased for "Shattering Crystal" and "Beast Claw." Visibility of some sorceries and incantations was adjusted.
  • Talismans: The "Reduced Maximum HP" effect of the "Primal Glintstone Blade" talisman and the "Impaired Damage Negation" effect of the "Crucible Feather Talisman" were reduced.

Field and Raid Adjustments

  • Shop Limits: "Fire Pots" and "Throwing Knives" now have shop purchase limits.
  • Cataclysms: The number of Night Invaders in "Marsh" cataclysms was increased, while enemy numbers and attack power in "Blacksmith Village" were adjusted.
  • Rewards: Rune acquisition and rare item probability were increased in "Marsh" and "Blacksmith Village." Special shop spawn rates in "The Great Hollow" were adjusted.
  • Raid Events:
    • During the "Tricephalos" Raid event, the "Beast's Hunt" ability was buffed to fully restore stamina for surrounding allies, and continuous damage to player characters was decreased. Visibility was also adjusted.
    • Visibility and falling hail damage were adjusted for the "Fissure in the Fog" Raid event.
    • Enemy charm states and attack power boosts were adjusted for the "Balancers" Raid event.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • Icons and descriptions for several passive effects and relic effects were added to the status menu.
  • Issues with costumes and unique DLC relics disappearing were fixed, allowing re-acquisition.
  • Bugs related to the "Will of the Balancers" relic (multiple acquisitions), Raider's "Retaliate" skill, Revenant summoned spirit staggering, and Executor's Ultimate Art unintended damage were resolved.
  • Other fixes include addressing incorrect near-death gauge reduction from Scholar's "Warming Stone," unintended damage from Executor's Ultimate Art linked with Scholar's "Communion," and issues with attack hitboxes and passive effect applications for various incantations, weapon arts, and skills.
