South Africa Floods Cause 19 Deaths, Lead to Kruger National Park Suspension

Flooding in South Africa's northern provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga has prompted the suspension of visits at Kruger National Park. Some guests and staff have been evacuated from the park by helicopter. Across South Africa, at least 19 deaths have been attributed to the floods in recent weeks. These fatalities include a five-year-old boy in Giyani, Limpopo. President Cyril Ramaphosa visited the region to assess the damage and offered condolences to the child's family. The South African Weather Service has issued a red level 10 warning, forecasting additional rain in affected areas and advising communities to remain alert.
