Six teenagers, including two 13-year-old boys, have been arrested in Mildura following an alleged crime spree that occurred this week.
Police reported an initial incident where the teens attempted to break into a residence on Ellswood Crescent through windows just before 3 AM on Thursday. They fled after being interrupted by an occupant.
In the early hours of the following morning, another attempted break-in occurred at a home on Beasy Court, where entry was attempted via the front door and a window. The individuals again fled after waking the occupants.
Authorities allege that shortly thereafter, the teenagers successfully entered a unit on Walnut Avenue. From this location, they reportedly stole three sets of car keys, a wallet, and $1000 cash, subsequently taking a $130,000 Dodge RAM from the property.
Detectives involved in tracking the teens down have stated that the group was allegedly involved in other break-ins during the same overnight period.
