Feature Overview and Current Status
Magic Cue is an AI feature on the Pixel 10 designed to automatically present information from various applications when relevant. Examples provided by Google include displaying flight details during customer service calls or restaurant reservations in chats. However, user experience reports suggest the feature currently offers occasional suggestions primarily within Gboard. A survey of 9to5Google readers found that nearly 70% reported Magic Cue "hardly appears" on their Pixel 10, despite Google announcing some improvements.
New Supported Applications
Android Authority, citing Android developer Kieron Quinn, published a screenshot showing Google Wallet and Google Tasks listed as supported applications within Magic Cue on the Pixel 10. This would add to the existing supported applications: Pixel Screenshots, Gmail, Messages, Keep Notes, Contacts, and Calendar, which have been available since the Pixel 10's launch last year.
Implementation Status
These newly identified options are not yet actively rolling out to users; they were manually enabled. Their discoverability indicates that Google is preparing to implement this support.
