Honor Magic 8 Pro Air Launch
Honor has officially launched its new smartphone, the Magic 8 Pro Air. The device's design has been observed to share similarities with Apple's iPhone Air, as well as other current-generation iPhone models.
Design Overview
- The Magic 8 Pro Air features a slim build, a wide, pill-shaped camera module, and a large circular casing for its main sensor, which resembles the iPhone Air.
- It distinguishes itself with two additional sensors: a 64MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
- The device is available in an orange colorway, which has been noted as similar to the iPhone 17 Pro's signature hue, and incorporates flat, matte sides, consistent with the iPhone 17 series design.
- The front design has also been compared to Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge.

- The Magic 8 Pro Air is equipped with a 6.31-inch QHD+ AMOLED display that offers a peak brightness of 6,000 nits.
- It features a main 50MP 1/1.3-inch f/1.6 camera sensor.

- The device has a chassis thickness of 6.1mm, which is 0.5mm greater than the iPhone Air's 5.6mm build.

- The starting price is CNY 4,999, approximately $717.
