Polar has begun rolling out the Polar OS 5 firmware update to five of its smartwatch models. This update introduces new widgets, convenience features, and various improvements.

- Polar Grit X2: v5.0.12
- Polar Grit X2 Pro: v5.0.13
- Polar Ignite 3: v5.0.12
Key features of Polar OS 5 include the ability to set multiple alarms directly on the smartwatch. Watch faces now incorporate a night mode; when "Do Not Disturb" is active, the display's illumination is reduced upon a button press, and certain watch faces offer a minimalistic time format. Furthermore, a new chart has been added to display blood oxygen saturation over time.
