A four-year-old child sustained life-threatening injuries after a vehicle struck pedestrians in Werribee, Melbourne's west. The incident occurred at the intersection of Synnot Street and Wedge Street South just after 11:00 AM.
Incident Details
A vehicle struck two pedestrians who were crossing the road. The four-year-old girl was transported to the Royal Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries. A 35-year-old female was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two additional pedestrians at the scene were not injured.
The driver of the vehicle, a 58-year-old woman, was not injured and remained at the scene following the collision.
