President Donald Trump announced the establishment of the Board of Peace during his visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos. He referred to this new entity as an "international oversight body." Several key US allies were not present at the charter-signing ceremony for the board.
During his time at the forum, President Trump also held a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Separately, Elon Musk made his inaugural appearance at the World Economic Forum, where he participated in discussions concerning space and artificial intelligence.
