Man Dies After Rip Current Incident at Mettam's Pool
One man has tragically died following an incident involving a powerful rip current at Mettam's Pool in Perth, Western Australia, on Australia Day. Two men were caught in the current during the afternoon.

The incident unfolded around 3 PM, when surf lifesavers responded to rescue the two men, aged 33 and 40, from the water. Emergency first aid was promptly administered to both individuals at the scene.
