Google TV Updates Enhance User Experience with New Features and Fixes

New Settings Sections Under 'Accounts & profiles'
The Google TV platform has received recent updates that expand the Settings menu with new dedicated sections under 'Accounts & profiles':
- Google Home: This section, related to smart home integration, was previously introduced in late 2024.
- Voice assistant (Gemini): A dedicated section for Google's AI assistant, Gemini, made its debut in 2025.
These settings pages represent recent additions and were not available in the earlier 1.0.767786292 release of the Google TV Home app.
'Report history' Section Added
A new 'Report history' section has been integrated into the platform.
This new addition displays "the status of reports you’ve submitted."
The precise nature of these reports, however, has not yet been detailed by Google.
Homescreen Fixes Implemented
Users will now notice improvements concerning YouTube video thumbnail previews on the Google TV homescreen. Problems that previously affected these previews have been successfully resolved. This resolution appears to be either server-side or directly related to the YouTube app itself, with the fix being observed across various Google TV devices.
