Rising Stars Tournament Rosters Revealed

The teams for the upcoming Rising Stars Tournament, which features top rookie and sophomore NBA players, have been announced. NBA legends Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, and Tracy McGrady each drafted a team for the tournament. The G League roster for the event has also been finalized.

Cooper Flagg, selected as the top overall pick by Carmelo Anthony, is considered a leading contender for the Rookie of the Year award.

Rookie Standouts Eyeing Tournament Glory

Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg is currently averaging 18.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. The Mavericks' current season record stands at 18-27.

Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel is also demonstrating strong performance. He is currently averaging 18.7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, alongside 42.2 percent shooting from three-point range. The Hornets' current record is 19-28.

Philadelphia 76ers guard V.J. Edgecombe has secured a starting position. He is recording 15.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game, while shooting 36.4 percent from beyond the arc, which addresses some earlier concerns regarding his jump shot.
