Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at Eastern Beach in Geelong, south-west of Melbourne.

A community member located the woman's body at approximately 11:20 AM today, subsequently informing lifeguards.
Emergency services, including police and paramedics, responded to the scene. Eastern Beach has since been secured as part of the ongoing investigation.
