Jets Appoint Brian Duker as Defensive Coordinator
The Jets have appointed Brian Duker as their new defensive coordinator. Duker became the ninth candidate to interview for the position yesterday.
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn had previously worked with Duker in Detroit from 2021 to 2023.
Duker's Coaching Background
Duker, 36, served as the Dolphins' secondary coach/defensive pass game coordinator for the past two seasons.
Prior to that, he was a defensive backs coach, safeties coach, and defensive assistant for the Lions while Glenn was the Lions' defensive coordinator.
Glenn's Tenure and Staff Changes
In his first season as head coach, Glenn's Jets team had a 3-14 record. Glenn retained his position as head coach and has made multiple changes to his coaching staff.
